Purchased in partnership with my friend Lyn from Yarralyn stud, we are lucky to have been able to add Albert to our breeding stock and thank Wendy & John Scerri for selling him to us.  Albert needs no introduction to small shetland breeders as he has been largely undefeated this season in his shetland classes.  Supreme at the APSB Stud Show in Bendigo, champion at Royal Melbourne and Supreme at the All Shetland Show, amongst other supreme wins.  We look forward to putting Albert over a number of our mares next season and seeing what he can produce.

This little boy will be our next breeding stallion.  Purchased in partnership again with my friend Lyn from Yarralyn stud.  Has been DNA tested and confirmed as a homozygous pinto which is a bonus for breeding the pintos we want. 

Collie attended 6 foal shows, with the following results:  5 champions, 3 reserves, 2 Supremes.  Will only be very lightly shown as a yearling.

*UPDATE:  14.1.10:  Collie wins supreme champion shetland 8.2hh & under at Korumburra Ag Show.

Zen was gelded on 29.1.10 and will continue his show career in the (quieter) gelding classes.  He has 3 foals on the ground this season and covered a further 3 mares so possibly more foals next season. 

During his 2yo 08/09 show season Zen won 5 champions, 4 reserves, 1 Supreme and 1 Grand Champion.

Results so far for his 3yo 09/10 show season:
8 champions, 8 reserves, 2 Supreme.

Mondeo is a nice type, with good straight legs and his father's big rump.  At this stage I plan to run him on as a show gelding to attend his futurity classes as a 2yo then he will be sold. 

Mondy has attended a number of foal shows, happily bucking and jumping around the showring...  Some results:
- Welsh P&C Society RPG foal show Glenbrae - reserve champion mini foal.

- AMPS Glengarry foal show reserve champion colt foal in both rings, best black.

My beautiful stallion Devil died on the morning of 21 February 2007.  I found him dead in his paddock of unknown causes.  No signs of much of a struggle, so whatever happened did so quickly in the middle of the night.  Suspected snake bite.  What a devastating loss of such a beautiful pony at such a young age. 

Devil is sorely missed and will always be remembered.  Goodbye my friend...

Devil was extensively shown with great success, winning many champions and supremes in his mini pony, shetland and pinto classes (winner of 13 supremes). He was also awarded AMPS Victorian Hi-point 2-3yr colt for the 04/05 show season and joint Hi-point stallion for the 05/06 season. His progeny were mostly all broken coloured and can be viewed on my 2005-2007 foals pages - he sired about 16 foals in his brief breeding years.

This is a pic of all 3 of Devil's piebald colts from the 2006 foaling season competing with success at the AMPS Drouin Group Foal Show.  Left to right - Beau Park Cheeky Boy with owner Andrea Heller, me with Darley Zen and Yarralyn Dare Devil with owner Lyn Kondratenkov.  Cheeky Boy and Zen were 2nd in their colt classes, Dare Devil won his colt class and he and Zen were 2nd in the pair by sire class.
