DARLEY ZEN

 

Piebald colt, born 14.11.06
Reg AMPS, APSB, VPS

Sire:  Shanusti Dane's Devil (piebald)
Dam: Darley May (black)

Zen is a superb little colt and a full brother to last season's colt Darley Popeye. He's a real pony type this boy, with a beautiful head and big rump.  With the sudden death of Zen's sire Devil, Zen's future has really changed as he will now be run on to be my breeding stallion here at Darley stud.  He will be attending 3 foal shows and then later in the year will be clipped and shown as a yearling.  All current and future photos of Zen can be found on the bottom of the STALLIONS page.


 

 

 

DARLEY ZANE

Black colt, born 26.9.06

Sire:  Shanusti Dane's Devil (piebald)
Dam: Domino Downs Fire Flight (chestnut)

Unfortunately Zane had to be put down on
13 November due to joint ill and other serious complications. It was a long struggle and we tried many
different treatments but we couldn't beat it and had to say goodbye to a lovely little colt.

A gorgeous and tiny palomino pinto colt born early December 2006, AMPS/APSB reg.  To be retained by owners Peter & Lorraine Friend, Lakes Entrance, as their future stud stallion.  Mare has come back to stud this season for a repeat mating.

YARRALYN DAREDEVIL

Piebald colt out of Yarralyn Georgie Girl (86cm solid black) owned by Lyn Kondratenkov, AMPS and VPS reg.  SOLD.  DareDevil was shown at a few foal shows and placed in all classes, winning his colt class at the AMPS Drouin Foal Show.

This lovely colt unfortunately died at a few months of age during his first halter lesson.  He reared up and fell over, hitting his head on the ground and died instantly.  It was a real shock and happened so fast.  He was a full brother to Darley Popeye and Darley Zen.

Dam:  Grevardi Yasmin, 85cm chestnut
 

This little filly was born unassisted and is strong and full of life.  Very small, lovely dishy head and looks like she will make a nice show and stud filly.  To be retained - my only Devil filly now.  Pics taken at under 24hrs old on the left, and one week old (with eyes shut) below.
