2004 FOALS

I've had another great foaling season. All 4 foals were correctly presented and there were no problems with the births - 3 lovely fillies and 1 colt.

DARLEY LILLY

Cremello filly

born 8.10.04

at 18 inches

Sire:  St Helena Honey (palomino)

Dam: Darley Indiana (palomino)

Lilly is a gorgeous little girl with pink skin and blue eyes. Indi had a very easy birth and is a good first time mum.

At this stage Lilly will be retained.

Update:  Lilly has measured 80.5cm as a 2yo and has been adult registered ready for breeding in the future.  Will be put to Shanusti Dane's Devil.

DARLEY SANDFLY

Golden palomino filly

born 21.10.04

at 20 inches

Sire:   St Helena Honey (palomino)

Dam:  Domino Downs Fire Flight (chestnut)

Sandy is a lovely refined little feminine filly. She is a full sister to successful show stallion Darley Treacle.

Update:  Sandy won champions and supreme in the showring as a yearling and I sold her at 2yo to Wendy Scerri.

DARLEY CODEINE

SOLD

Red bay colt

born 23.10.04

Sire:  St Helena Honey (palomino)
Dam: Darley May (black)

Cody has a lovely head and will make a nice show pony.

Dual registered AMPS/APSB (as are all my foals).

Update:  Cody has been very successful in the showring and is going on to be a breeding colt now as a 2yo.  He has won many champions and reserves at Ag shows and in December 2006 he was awarded Junior Champion Colt at our AMPS Victorian Championship Show.  Congratulations to Cherie Staub of Yallourn North, who owns and shows him.  Pics of Cody as a 2yo below:

DARLEY KESTREL

SOLD

Skewbald filly

born 24.10.04

Sire:  Shanusti Dane's Devil (piebald)
Dam: Shanusti Foxy Lady (bay)

Kestrel is a real doll with a gorgeous little head. She is very friendly and will make a great show filly.

Congratulations to Lyn Kondratenkov (Yarralyn stud) on her purchase of this filly for her show team.

Update:  Kestrel has won champions and reserves at Ag shows in her mini and pinto classes.  Her final outing with be at Barastoc for her foal futurity event and then she will be retired for breeding (pic below as a yearling).
